About Alex Newman
I began writing when I was still at school. My first published pieces were articles about nature conservation and the preservation of cultural heritage. Stories and poems followed, and in 1994 my first romantic adventure book appeared in a small edition. I inherited my love of reading and writing from my mother. It has stayed with me ever since.
I'm drawn to the moment when a person must make a choice without knowing what it will cost. That thread runs through MANGO, a romantic suspense novel about love, loss, identity, and an impossible second chance. It also runs through The Consent Chronicles, my three-book science fiction series about memory, freedom, and who has the right to decide another person's future.
For two years, another woman's story has been unfolding at my writing desk. I'm close to finishing that novel now. I'll share more when it's ready.
